VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
- Disaster Assessment Members to conduct disaster assessment in neighborhoods following disasters
- Disaster Response Team Members to respond to house fires, wildfires, and other emergencies.
- Disaster Educators to provide preparedness presentations & information to community groups, neighborhood associations, health fairs, & schools.
- Health and Safety Instructors to teach CPR and First Aid courses.
- Shelter Volunteers to work in Red Cross shelters during and after a disaster.
- Shelter Managers to manage Red Cross shelters during and after a disaster.
- Family Services Interviewers to interview families impacted by disasters.
- Logistics Volunteers to help with inventory, vendor agreements, facility agreements, and transportation.
- Licensed Nurses to assist disaster victims with health related emergency needs.
- Marketing/Public Relations to promote Red Cross activities.
- Mental Health Professionals to provide emotional support and counseling to victims of disaster.
- Night Emergency Interviewer to take emergency telephone calls for servicemen.
- Project Volunteers to work on various community projects.
- Receptionist to answer the telephones and greet visitors
- Special Events Assistants to help with Red Cross special events.
- Telephone Callers to alert volunteers of disasters and ask for assistance.
