Your American Red Cross Martin County Chapter provides Heath and Safety classes to the general public at the Chapter headquarters located at 2750 S. Kanner Highway in Stuart and in locations throughout the community. Classes are held in the evenings or weekends, and sometimes on weekdays for the convenience of all Martin County residents.
Our Health and Safety classes are taught by a core of certified instructors who volunteer their time so others may know how to face a life threatening situation with knowledge and skill. Our Instructors strive to teach Martin County residents how to be safe and how to care for individuals who have experienced a life threatening health problem.

Classes in the Workplace
The American Red Cross Martin County Chapter also provides Workplace or Full Service courses during working hours to companies who, for their convenience, wish us to provide the additional service of sending one of our Red Cross Instructors out to their work site. We can provide textbooks, videos, training manikins, state-of-the-art training supplies and first aid kits.
Authorized Provider Classes
American Red Cross also provides training to individuals in companies or community organizations so they may become Health and Safety Instructors capable of training their own employees or organization. Once they are trained, on a regular basis, they will rent equipment and Red Cross training videos, and purchase textbooks, supplies and certification cards.
The Health and Safety department tracks the enrollees' certification records and the expiration dates of their certificates. Some CPR and First Aid classes are taught through authorized providers as well as most of our aquatics classes.
